Observing The Moon With  Firstscope Celestron

Try observing the Moon during it's partial phases, first or third quarter to ensure the most contract and detail. Use the low power eyepiece to view the lunar disk then change to the higher power eyepiece to focus on smaller areas. Remember those telescope accessories, try a yellow filter to improve contrast or a polarizing filter or a neutral density filter to reduce the overall surface brightness and glare.

You will be able to watch Venus go through its lunar-like phases. Spy on the polar caps of Mars with all it's surface detail. See the cloud belts of Jupiter and the great Red Spot and of course the moons of Jupiter too. Let's not forget the rings of Saturn, all of which are clearly available to proud owners of the Firstscope Celestron beginners telescope.
